Main Composition: Dimenidazole
Description: This product is a white or slightly yellow powder, which turns black when exposed to light, and is odorless or almost odorless.
Pharmacological Actions:Pharmacodynamics: Dimenidazole is an antiprotozoal drug with broad-spectrum antibacterial and antiprotozoal effects. Not only can it resist anaerobic bacteria, Vibrio coli, streptococcus, staphylococcus and treponema, but also can resist histotrichomoniasis, ciliates, amoeba, etc.
Drug Interaction:Can not be combined with other antihistonia drugs.
Function and Use: Broad-spectrum anti-anaerobic bacteria and antiprotozoal drugs have killing effect on histotrichomoniasis and have a certain inhibitory effect on coccidia. Used for swine treponema dysentery and avian histotrichomoniasis.
Dosage and Administration: Based on this product. Mixed feeding: 1000-2500g for pigs and 400-2500g for chickens per 1000kg of feed.
Adverse Reactions:Chickens are more sensitive to this product. Large doses can cause balance disorders and liver and kidney function damage.
Precautions:
(1) It cannot be used in combination with other antihistonia drugs.
(2) The continuous medication for chickens shall not exceed 10 days.
(3) Banned during laying hens.
Withdrawal Period: Pig and chicken 28 days.
