COMPOSITION:

Indications:
Enrofloxacin injection is a broad spectrum antibiotic active against gram positive and gram negative bacteria as well as mycoplasmas and chlamydias .
Side Effects:With the exception of potential cartilage abnormalitiese in young animals , the adverse effect profile of these drugs appears to be minimal . G1 distress ( vomiting , anorexia ) is the most common , yet infrequently reported adverse effect . Although not reported thus far in animals , hypersensitivity reactions , crystalluria and CNS effects ( dizziness , stimulation ) could potentially occur.
Precautions:Enrofloxacin injection is not suitable for horse , dogs which are 8 weeks old and laying hens.
Dosage and Administration :
Injection intravenous or intramuscular for animals: 2.5 mg/kg of bw.
Withdrawal Times:Milk : 72 hrsMeat : 14 days
Storage:Store at room temperature ( 15-20°C) and protect from light.
