Indications:
Bupavaquone is a drug for the treatment of bovine Taylor's pyrozoosis, a blood protozoosis that is seriously harmful to cattle. The pathogen of this disease is transmitted by ticks to cattle and parasitized in macrophage lymphocyte erythrocytes, causing clinical symptoms characterized by hyperthermia anemia and emaciation and swelling of superficial lymph nodes The epidemic of the disease has obvious seasonality, the onset season is from May to August. Cattle aged 6 months to 2 years are susceptible to bupavaquone, which starts in May, peaks in June to July, and gradually subsides in August. The mortality rate is 6% to 60%. Young cattle infected with bupavaquone can be immune to bupavaquone for 2.5 to 6 years Some countries in the Middle East and Far East market, is the most effective drug for the treatment of bovine Taylor's disease, its therapeutic dose is 2.5 mg/kg, the cure rate is about 90%~98%
Usage and Dosage:
For intramuscular injection
The general dosage is 1 ml per 20 kg body weight.
In severe cases the treatment may be repeated within 48-72 hours.
Do not administer more than 10 ml per injection site.
Side effects:
Improper usage of this product may cause local edema at injection site.
