[Character] This product is a yellow to brownish yellow clear liquid.
[Pharmacological effects] Tetracycline antibiotics. Doxycycline can reversibly bind to the receptor on the bacterial ribosome 30S subunit, interfere
withtRNA and mRNA to form a ribosome complex, prevent skin chain extension and inhibit protein synthesis, so as to rapidly inhibit bacterial growth and reproduction. Doxycycline inhibits both gram-positive and negative bacteria, and has cross resistance with oxytetracycline and chlortetracycline.
[Indications] It is used to treat pig infectious diseases caused by gram-positive and negative bacteria and mycoplasma, such as mycoplasma pneumonia, colibacillosis, salmonellosis, pasteurellosis, etc.
[Usage and dosage] Calculated by doxycycline. Intramuscular injection: One dose per 1kg body weight, pigs 5-10mg once a day, continuous use for 2-3 days.
[Adverse reactions] 1. Intramuscular injection can cause pain, inflammation, and necrosis at the injection site.
2. doxycycline has certain hepatotoxicity and nephrotoxicity. Excessive doxycycline can cause serious liver damage, and fatal nephrotoxicity can be seen occasionally.
