[Character] This product is a slightly chartreuse clarifying liquid.

Pharmacological effects: Ciprofloxacin belongs to the category of broad-spectrum antibacterial drugs with bactericidal properties. It has good effects on Escherichia coli, Salmonella, Klebsiella, Brucella, Pasteurella, Actinobacillus pleuropneumoniae, Erysipelothrix, Proteus, Serratia marcescens, Corynebacterium pyogenes, Bordetella septicetica, Staphylococcus aureus, Mycoplasma, Yiyuanxiu, etc., weak effects on Pseudomonas aeruginosa and Streptococcus, weak effects on anaerobic bacteria. It has a significant antibacterial effect on sensitive bacteria. The antibacterial mechanism is the DNA rotation enzyme that acts on bacterial cells, interfering with the replication, transcription, repair, and recombination of bacterial DNA, causing bacteria to fail to grow and reproduce normally and die.

Pharmacokinetics: This product is rapidly and completely absorbed by intramuscular injection, widely distributed in animals, and can easily enter tissues and fluids. Mainly excreted from urine in its original form. The half-life of intravenous injection of ciprofloxacin hydrochloride is 4.9 hours for horses, 2.4 hours for calves, 1.3 hours for sheep, 1.5 hours for goats, 3.1 hours for pigs, 2.6 hours for dogs, and 9.0 hours for chickens.

Drug interactions When combined with aminoglycosides or broad-spectrum penicillin, there is a synergistic effect.

Heavy metal ions such as Ca2+, Mg2+, Fe3+, and Ab3+can chelate with this product, affecting absorption.

When combined with theophylline and caffeine, due to changes in egg self binding rate, the plasma egg self binding rate decreases, and the concentration of theophylline and caffeine in the blood abnormally increases, even leading to symptoms of theophylline poisoning.

It has an inhibitory effect on liver drug enzymes, which can reduce the clearance rate of drugs mainly metabolized in the liver and increase blood drug concentration.
