Tylosin 20% injection is a common veterinary drug, mainly composed of Tilmicosin. It is a broad-spectrum antibiotic commonly used in the prevention and treatment of livestock and poultry, especially with good therapeutic effects on respiratory infections and other diseases.
The main component of Tylosin is Tylosin, which belongs to the semi synthetic microbial antibiotic class. Its mechanism of action is to inhibit bacterial protein synthesis, block bacterial growth and reproduction, and thus play an antibacterial role. Tylosin has a strong bactericidal effect on various Gram positive and negative bacteria, especially against pathogenic bacteria that cause respiratory infections, such as Pasteurella, Mycoplasma, Actinobacteria, etc. It has good antibacterial effects.
